Precision polished from high purity single-crystal alumina (α-Al₂O₃). It features Mohs hardness 9, melting point up to 2040℃, wide-spectrum high transmittance, strong acid and alkali resistance, excellent insulation and thermal conductivity, and superior chemical inertness.
