Triangular Quartz Capillary Tube is a special micro-pipe component made of high-purity fused silica through precision molding technology. Its unique triangular cross-sectional design, compared with traditional circular capillaries, has a larger effective inner surface area and more stable fluid carrying capacity, enabling more precise liquid/gas flow control in micro-manipulation scenarios.
The product inherits the excellent properties of quartz material: outstanding high-temperature resistance, capable of long-term work at 1100℃ and short-term tolerance of 1450℃; extremely strong chemical stability, no reaction with most acid and alkali reagents except hydrofluoric acid, and acid resistance 30 times that of ceramics; excellent optical transmittance, with superior transmittance in the full spectral range from ultraviolet to infrared, and over 93% transmittance in the visible light region. It also has an extremely low thermal expansion coefficient, can withstand drastic temperature changes without cracking, and has good mechanical strength and biocompatibility, which will not interfere with biological samples.
The product features strict dimensional accuracy, with outer diameter tolerance controllable within ±0.01-0.1mm, and supports customized production of outer diameter 0.5-8mm, inner diameter 0.05-7mm and length 1mm-1000mm.
