Borosilicate Glass (High Hardness Grade)
Borosilicate glass (high hardness grade) features a linear thermal expansion coefficient of (3.3±0.1)×10⁻⁶/K, and is also known as "3.3 borosilicate glass" or "95-grade borosilicate glass". It is a type of special high-temperature glass with low thermal expansion coefficient, high temperature resistance, high strength, high hardness, high light transmittance and excellent chemical stability. Thanks to its outstanding performance, it is widely used in chemical engineering, lighting equipment, medical technology, environmental engineering, precision instruments, household appliances and other fields. Its unique physical and chemical properties make it highly popular, and it is particularly extensively applied in the lighting engineering sector, now being widely popularized in the domestic market.
Product Features
Borosilicate glass boasts stable high temperature resistance, capable of continuous operation in a high-temperature environment of 450℃, with an instantaneous temperature resistance up to 650℃. After heat-strengthened treatment, its thermal shock resistance and mechanical strength are significantly enhanced. It has a low thermal expansion coefficient of only 3.25×10⁻⁶/K and high light transmittance. Additionally, it exhibits excellent water, alkali and acid resistance, along with high strength, high hardness and superior explosion resistance.
